A Message from Our Superintendent
August 18, 2025

Dear Families,
Welcome back to school! Summer is ending, and the leaves are starting to change color in anticipation of fall. Staff have been working in classrooms and getting professional development. Our grounds crew has been working diligently to make the campus and playgrounds safe and beautiful for our students. Inside the buildings, our custodial crew has been cleaning and painting to make the learning environment safe and engaging for students. Additionally, the transportation and kitchen staff have been working hard to prepare for students.
Although the incidence of COVID-19 has declined, the district will continue to abide by the Wind River Inter-Tribal Council Resolution No. 2023-11730. We will follow the COVID-19 health and safety protocols in order to provide a safe and healthy environment for students, staff, and community.
Please join us for the Welcome Back Open House on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. First day of school is Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
Online registration is available on the school website. Please contact the front office at (307) 332-2380 for additional information. We look forward to a great school year.
Sincerely,
Debra R. Smith
