A Message from Our Superintendent
June 5, 2026
Dear Parent/Guardians,
The school year finished strong with our Five Buffalo Days celebration, Fort Washakie High School graduation, and our 8th grade moving-up celebration. Summer has started. We have several students attending summer school and our Friday culture camp. Summer school enrichment activities are in full swing, and we hope to offer something of interest to all age groups. Swimming lessons will be for summer school students in grades 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
The library and culture center will be open during the summer. Please check in at the front office to access these centers. Summer hours will begin on June 8, 2026. The administrative office will be closed at noon on Fridays. Please call 332-5983 for assistance, Monday–Thursday during the normal school hours and before noon on Friday.
Reminders:
At this time, our district continues to abide by WRITC Resolution No. 2023-11730. Masks are optional and COVID-19 testing is available in the Nurse’s Office.
Our website has a new look. Please review the site and provide feedback. Please check our website for information regarding upcoming events. Our district is utilizing Parent Square for communication to parents/guardians as well. Student registration for the upcoming school year is available online.
Sincerely,
Debra R. Smith
