Overview:
This document is written to describe what a student in Fremont County School District #21 must do in order to graduate from Fort Washakie Charter High School. Chapter 31 of the Wyoming Department of Education Rules and Regulations stipulates that a Wyoming Graduate must meet two general criteria for graduation. First, the student must earn an appropriate number of Carnegie units (credits), and second a student must show proficiency on the Wyoming Content and Performance Standards. This second requirement demands that the district designs a system that provides each student with the opportunity to demonstrate and account for his/ her knowledge and skills as compared to Wyoming Performance Standards. This system is referred to as a Body of Evidence (BOE) system.
